| National Farmers Union is a general farm organization established in 1902 and representing nuarly 200,000 family farmers and ranchers nationwide. Farmers Union serves it's members by assisting with education, by providing stimulus and know-how for farmer-owned cooperatives and by presenting the organization's policies to lawmakers at the local, state, and national levels. NFU is a federation with the presidents of the twenty-six state and regional Farmers Union organizations comprising its national board of directors. |
